Carlos Bengochea Jr.
Carlos Bengochea Jr. is part owner of Oceans Consolidators Inc.. Carlos’ focus is mainly on business operations such as warehouse operations, LCL Cargo, compliance, and acts as the company’s security coordinator. Carlos graduated Florida International University, where he earned his Bachleor’s in Management Information Systems (MIS).
After graduation, Carlos launched his career as an Information Technology professional in a Fortune 500 corporation, Harte Hanks in Miami, Florida. While working as an IT professional, Carlos acquired certifications such as A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, and MCSE. Soon after, Carlos received his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Nova Southeastern University.
After several more years as an IT professional, Carlos returned to work in his family business. With the experience gained working within a large corporation, and as an IT professional; Carlos brought that experience to be implemented into a small family business. Carlos continues to work to improve his business with a clear strategy for growth, and service using the tools he has acquired through his education and professional life.
Elizabeth R. Bengochea
Elizabeth R. Bengochea is also part owner of Oceans Consolidators Inc.. She is involved in the day-to-day operations of the business, focusing on customer relationship building. Elizabeth specializes in project cargo, concentrating her efforts to ensure all project shipments are completed on time and within budget.
Elizabeth graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s in Business Management. She initially worked in the finance industry and later completed her Master’s of Business Administration at American University in Washington, D.C. Upon graduation, Elizabeth worked for Fortune 500 Companies such as Ryder System Inc. and Carnival Cruise Lines for almost a decade, mainly in marketing research and competitive analysis.
After her years in the corporate world, Elizabeth opted to join the family business and use her education and experience to further expand Oceans Consolidators Inc.. Elizabeth also successfully passed the Customs House Broker exam in October of 2014 and is now the in-house Customs Broker for Oceans Consolidators Inc..
